Fleximats are a practical tabletop solution for saving your kitchen table from the unwanted scuffs and marks that always seem to occur at mealtimes. Woven vinyl textiles from Plymouth Pottery are a new and funky style of table placemats which serve as a durable alternative to traditional corkbacked tablemats.

The Carbon Fleximat is reversible with one side a dark black and the other a slightly lighter shade with the outline of a leaf and flower on each side.

The flexibility of the set of four Fleximats and the strength of the woven vinyl textile creates a practical answer to protect your table. Non-slip is another of the advantages that the Fleximat has compared to for example a cotton or linen tablemat. They do not easily slide around your table like a cotton placemat might, especially when a plate is on top.

Available as sets of four, these non-rigid table placemats are a generous 45cm x 30cm (17.75 x 11.25 inches). This larger size of tablemat allows you to keep the cutlery and dinner plate on the same flexible placemat as well as your drinks tumbler or wine glass. This avoids using a separate coaster to protect your kitchen or dining table.

Easy to clean Fleximat sets

To get the most out of your Carbon Fleximats you should wipe them clean straight after use with a bit of soap and water and a soft cloth. To remove a stubborn stain gently rub with a soft brush. If needed use an antibacterial soap and then allow the mats to dry naturally before storing. Ideally get rid of any food stains immediately.

You should avoid folding your flexible table placemats when storing them; they should be stored flat and uncreased. We do not recommend putting them in either a dishwasher or washing machine.
